Christmas!!

Our Christmas started Sunday the 20th in Fort Payne at Matt's grandparent's house. We did all the basic family holiday stuff; eating lots, opening presents and playing Dirty Santa. I sat in the wrong spot apparently because from every angle there was a window which made a glare on the pictures. So this is Jenna with her new piano from Granny and Jenna playing with her cousin Tytan. And that's all I got! From there, we traveled down to Daphne for Taylor Christmas. We ate at Felix's Fish Camp and then played Dirty Santa and let the great-grandkids open presents. They all racked up on the toys! They loved it. This was our first year without Paw Paw and we missed him so much. Maw Maw had something up her sleeve! Mrs. Claus(maw maw's neighbor) paid us a visit. We played a game and she handed out presents. Funny.

And then came Christmas Eve. We had dinner at home with my family. Poor Jenna had a fever and was sleeping and I think Carson was sleeping too. I can't remember. Since our oven is STILL broken we cooked two different kinds of soup for Christmas dinner. We ate and then it was time for presents!! I gave my mom the job of getting my kids clothes for Christmas which was wonderful for me! They got TONS of new clothes. Then it was time to make cookies(no bake of course, ugh!) for Santa and put carrots out for the reindeer.

At noon on Christmas Day we had brunch with the Anderson's and my grandparents. It was so good!! The kids had a great time with each other too!

This isn't a great picture but we haven't compared Baby Ben and Carson in a while. Carson is so much bigger and taller. Isn't that funny how different they are but they are slow close in age!?!

Then it was time to go to Matt's mom's house. We had a huge, wonderful Christmas dinner. Jenna loves birthday parties. I mean LOVES them. So we had a party for Jesus and she got to blow out the candle. Then present time!!! Jenna got a rocking horse and she LOVES it!

Anderson Kids and Edgeworth Kids

I love it when we get our kids together. Brant is 7 months older than Jenna and Carson is 9 days older than Ben.

First of all, Jenna LOVES babies. She is a little mommy. She loves to hold Baby Ben every time

we see him. He's not used to it because Brant is not as interested in him but he is such a great sport at it. She kisses him over and over!

Brant and Jenna play together...a little. They are at the age where they play with the same toys in the same room but not so much with each other. At Grandmother's this week they saw a cat outside in the yard and shared a chair to look at it. This is such a funny picture because this is how they are a lot. Jenna wants to hug Brant and Brant lets her but pulls away just enough to not have to touch her very much.

And then of course we love to measure Carson and Ben. Carson is HUGE! We hadn't compared them in a while but I knew Carson had gained so much weight in the last few weeks! (I can't wait for Matt to see him next week!) So here they are! (Carson is in the Orange and Ben is in the stripes) Almost 4 months old! :)

Two Baby Boys

Here are Carson and Ben again. They are between 9 and 10 weeks here. It took a lot to get this picture. Neither one of them wanted to be laying down. You should've seen the dance Lindsey and I were doing!

Happy Anniversary!

June 20th was our first anniversary. Crazy how times flies.

We went to Orange Beach, AL to stay in a condo that my aunt owns. We stayed there for our honeymoon too. Here we are last year.

We had a great time. We had some friends come stay with us too which made it even more fun! Mom let us drive her car down..thanks Mom! We ate breakfast and lunch at the condo everyday and then went out everynight. We ate at the Hangout, which is right on the beach, Tacky Jacks which is right on the water also, and then at Lulu's, which is Jimmy Buffet's sister's restraunt. They were all fabulous!We spent most of our days on the beach; reading, swimming, playing games.

Happy Anniversary, Matt! I love you! It makes me sad to think about next year...we'll be thousands of miles apart...

While we were gone the kids stayed with our parents. They stayed with Matt's parents the first night and then mine for the others. Jenna has such a great time. She loves them all so much. Carson doesn't really care yet. :)

Grandmother's House

My Grandmother had our family and Anna's family over for lunch on Saturday because her sister, Kathy, was in town with 2 of her granddaughters and her husband. My Grandmother fixed an AMAZING meal! Two of my favorite things she makes are squash and onions and pasta salad and she had both that day!!!

We love taking pictures of baby Ben and Carson everytime we get together so here they are this time!

And here is a cute picture of Grandmother telling Jenna a story about a trip she took. Jenna was very interested. She kept saying uh huh everytime Grandmother would pause. So cute! Thanks Grandmother for inviting us over!!

Anna(my aunt) had her new little boy, Benjamin Scott, 9 days after Carson was born. It will be so fun seeing them grow up together and watch how they change together. We went to visit them on Mother's Day and took pictures of the new babies together. Ben was 7 lbs 12 oz and Carson was 8 lbs 10 oz. Ben is the one in dinosaurs and Carson is the one in trucks.
