The Lake

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that we decided to spend it outside. We took Jenna to the lake. I wasn't so sure I should go because it was so hot outside but I went anyway. I did ok. We didn't stay long because my feet started swelling but we had fun. Jenna LOVED the water. It might have been the coldest water I've ever felt but she did not want to get out. Luckily Matt stayed in there with her the whole time. I put my feet in...once and that was enough for me! We played in the water, ate a snack and walked around some. She loved it and is still talking about the "row row" (boats) we saw and the sticks in the water. She is such a funny girl.

Almost ready!

We are getting ready for little Carson to get here! I am cleaning my house, slowly but surely, doing a little bit everyday. (Actually I over did it, my doctor told me today to go get in the bed...opps!) We have all the baby stuff set up and our bags packed and ready by the door. I still have to go to the grocery store but that's the last big thing besides the house getting finshed.
I can't believe its finally here. I am so ready for that little guy to get here! I'm not so sure that Jenna knows what is about to happen..she will find out soon enough...but right now she is enjoying playing with all the "new" baby toys. She gets a little frustrated with them because she thinks they should do more...I keep telling her that baby toys are boring...all you do she shake them but she doesn't seem to be satisfied with that. Oh well.
We have to be at the hospital at midnight on Monday night/Tuesday morning. Angela(midwife) thinks we will have a baby by 2:00 that afternoon! Wahoo! Monday night, here we come!

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came to see us. Jenna got a Dora basket and lots of fun treats. My parents came to see us that morning before church. We went to church with Matt's parents and then to eat at their house. Jenna hunted eggs and also rode the horses(which is her favorite thing in the world to do!!). After that we went to my parents house for pizza.

We had such a great, busy day!

Shrek Eggs

Jenna loves loves loves Shrek. I found a Shrek the Third egg dying kit at WalGreens a few weeks ago so I got it and saved it for this weekend. Here's what we did...

DZT Egg Hunt

Jenna and I went to her first Egg Hunt at Lee this week. She found 4 eggs. She didn't realize that you have to go fast because all the other kids are running around trying to get all the eggs..but with the help of Aunt Lindsey, she did great. She loved it when she realized there was candy in her eggs too! Thanks DZT! (And look at the HUGE pregnant girl too...almost there!)

Cows and Ice Cream

Josh, Sheri, Jenna and I went to Mayfield Dairy today. Who knew it was a free tour??

Everyone HAS to wear a hair net. I didn't put one on Jenna at first because I knew she wouldn't keep it on. The girl insisted that Jenna wear it. So we put it on and distracted her with looking at all the yellow(which makes 3 colors she knows now, by the way) milk cartons until she forgot about it.

We had such a good time. Even though it was freezing cold outside, we ended the day with ice cream. Jenna's favorite part was seeing all the cows(ows, that's right, no "c") and of course eating ice cream. She liked Josh's the best...we didn't blame her. His had chocolate in it.

The only thing that would've made the day even more perfect was if Matt was there with us. We are so ready for him to come home! Only 3 more days! :)
